I wish this one hadn't come out so dark. Jordy is lying his head on Aaron's knee.
Then we had 20 people over for Easter dinner at our house. Both dogs were on their best behavior. We stuck them in the neighbor's yard during dinner, just to prevent begging or disruption to the holiday meal. (The dogs love to romp and play the "head biting" game.) So they enjoyed this time too. We're anxious to get a fence so they can play like that freely all the time.
Jordy made friends with everyone, and offered my grandmother several kisses on her chin. She was grateful. Both dogs seemed to know that my grandfather was not feeling well. He fell and broke his arm last night. The bones were not set yet, as he needs surgery, and he is on pain medication to get him through. The pain meds give him a sick tummy. Both dogs were very slow and gentle, and just seemed to understand what was going on. One exception: Jordy's happy tail. We had to help him keep it away from Grandfather's arm.
And after the dinner crowd left? More playing and cuddles.
By the end of the whole day, he was too tired to even crawl to his bed. Poor Jordy just splayed out right in the middle of the rug until we all went to bed. So exhausted!
